On December 19th it is once again time for Allmänna Sången's traditional Christmas Gala! Guest artist at this year’s gala is famous Swedish dance orchestra Svenska Lyxorkestern, and the gala will feature collaborations between the orchestra and the choir, as well as traditional Swedish Christmas music, Christmas carols, and the world premiere of a new choral piece composed especially for Allmänna Sången by Jan Sandström. This year’s gala will be the final concert that Cecilia Rydinger Alin conducts as conductor and musical leader of Allmänna Sången before officially stepping down from the position.  

The choir will give two galas, one at 3 pm and one at 5.30 pm.
